Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026
This is a starting template. Confirm it matches how you actually operate (especially your email, analytics, and ad tools) and have it reviewed before launch. Replace every [bracketed] field.

This Privacy Policy explains how My Divorce Plan ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit my-divorce-plan.com (the "Site") or buy the Divorce Survival Guide™ (the "Product"). We respect that this is a sensitive topic and aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

  • Purchase information: your email address and order details. Card payments are processed by Stripe — we receive confirmation and the last four digits, never your full card number.
  • Usage & device data: pages visited, referring source, approximate location, browser/device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages you send us for support or refunds.

How we use it

  • To process your order and deliver the Product.
  • To provide support and handle refunds.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To measure and improve our advertising (see below).

Advertising & analytics

We use Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to understand how visitors from our ads interact with the Site (for example, viewing the sales page or completing a purchase) and to measure and improve ad performance. This may involve sharing hashed identifiers (such as a hashed email) with Meta. We may also use other analytics tools. These tools may set cookies and build audiences for advertising.

You can control ad personalization in your Meta ad settings and opt out of many analytics/advertising cookies via your browser or tools like the DAA opt-out.

Who we share information with

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Our email/delivery provider — to send your download and receipts.
  • Meta and analytics providers — advertising measurement, as described above.
  • Legal — where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep order records as needed for accounting, tax, and support purposes, and no longer than reasonably necessary.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California residents under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise them, email support@my-divorce-plan.com.

Children

The Site and Product are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16.
